The Biggest Birthday- July 4th in Texas

Texas does all things big. That includes the July 4th festivities. My neighborhood currently smells like one smokey firecracker! Despite the smell, I love it. I love what it means to be an American.

As an immigrant, this day is one of the most exciting in my family. Without the opportunity to come to this nation....there would be no Mr. & Mrs. Hunt. There wouldn't be a Sofia! Each year, this day, is reminder to be thankful for I have!

I could go on and on about all the blessings that have come from my adoption. But, the biggest and best thing is a real home with a real family. Right here. Right in the heart of the bible belt of East Texas. I couldn't be more happy that God chose THIS place for myself and my family.

So, as part of the yearly tradition, here is my gorgeous baby girl wearing her obnoxiously cute (and festive) Stars and Stripes!!! Hope you have a happy and safe evening with those that matter the most...in the best place on earth!
