Salwater Kisses- Test for Comfy.Cozy.Warm

The girls are comfy.cozy.warm

It is July in East Texas. The sun is blistering and being outside makes one miserable in seconds. So, of course, I took on a test knit for a winter beanie!

Honestly, I needed a quick knit. I'm busy doing props and working on orders and these test knits allow me to keep my sanity amongst the repetatives of order making.

The Saltwater Kisses Beanie is designed and will be published by Comfy.Cozy.Warm

I will be happy to add a link once the pattern goes LIVE.

This pattern is very easy to follow. I did this while being laid up sick. So, if you need an easy project that doesn't require a lot of thinking and counting...cast this on. You'll be glad you did.

My only modifications was that I did switch to a smaller cast on needle. I used a US 8 instead of US 9. I find that Sofia's head tends to be smaller and she prefers to have a tight fitting hat.

Overall, I'm really please with the texture of this hat. Sofia sure did enjoy playing in it. We put it in her winter stock pile of knits. She'll be the best dressed kid in school come Fall!!!

My ravelry project for this is already listed. Please feel free to check it out if you would like more of my notes and yarn info: https://www.ravelry.com/projects/ahunt1990/saltwater-kisses-beanie
